Set in a luxurious Moroccan-style cozy studio in Beverly Hills, this two-hour therapeutic experience is designed to help you rest deeply, release stress, and express your emotions creatively. This mini-retreat features a powerful "7 Homecomings" guided visualization by Lama Rod Owens, followed by a restful somatic practice inspired by the Nap Ministry. This session is designed to help you release stress, reconnect with your body, and embrace the radical act of rest.

Meet Your Facilitators

Kenya Crawford, LMHC

Kenya Crawford (she/they/name), M.A., Ed.M, LMHC, is the CEO of Kenya Crawford Consulting, the Founder of Cultivating Healers, an award-winning licensed psychotherapist, racial equity consultant, and coach creating healing and liberating spaces to dismantle oppressive systems. As the Founder of Cultivating Healers Kenya supports therapists in building anti-racist, sustainable, and inclusive practices through CEU trainings, support groups, and coaching. Over the past decade, Kenya has supported international and domestic clients in their anti-racism journey. Kenya’s work has been featured in Huffington Post, Essence, Mindbody Green, and Popsugar, to name a few.

Oumou Sylla, LMFT

oumou is a Senegalese-Guinean American raised multi-hyphenate polycreative - therapist, coach, disruptor, zinester, writer, speaker, consultant and facilitator of spaces for radical learning. oumou is a two-time graduate of Syracuse University and former adjunct professor of the same school. she is the creator of RMHFA, a workshop that is slowly but surely changing the care and mental health landscape.

oumou’s lived and professional experiences are gifts that allow her to support people and businesses in intuitive and radical ways. their work aims to disrupt systems of disconnection, the laziness lie, the productivity death escalator and “the transactional ways in which relationships exist under capitalism” (word 2 niki franco). in her work, she incorporates different modes of learning, facilitation, processing and healing based on your needs, context, and background. they are mindful and aware that we are impacted by Anti-Blackness, Ableism, Gender Based Oppression, Capitalism, state sanctioned violence, and other forms of systemic injustice in every aspect of our lives.

  • This event is catered to folks who are Burnt & Busy! Including but not limited to healthcare professionals, lawyers, & folks working in corporate America/Tech

  • Lite bites, fruit, pastries, water, tea, & coffee will be provided

  • Free 1.5 hours parking is available across the street.

  • Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to remove your shoes to enter the space.
